My heart surgery, at the age of 13, has been referenced as “crossing over” and it creates a peace beyond understanding. It also adds a new depth and sweetness to living.

It is very much like what daredevils and thrill seekers come to see, the closeness to death deepens the vitality of life! Once death has been tasted, fear of it leaves and in its absence is life in living color. When death’s fear leaves all other fears lose their sting. One is truly placed in the love embrace of life!
